True, we’re not an old, established company. In fact, the idea of Implenia was first discussed in the summer of 2005. Switzerland’s leading builders, Zschokke and Batigroup, made the stunning announcement of their intended merger into a new entity, Implenia, in November 2005. The Swiss Competition Commission approved the merger without conditions in February 2006, and the shareholders of Zschokke and Batigroup gave their green light in March of the same year.
