Werner Karlen, CEO of Implenia since 1 February 2009, is leaving the company in order to pursue a new career direction. He is resigning with immediate effect and in agreement with the Board of Directors.
Dietlikon, 6 April 2009 – The Board has therefore appointed its Chairman Anton Affentranger as Executive Chairman and has asked him to take over operational management of the company in this role. To ensure the company still meets the standards of good corporate governance, Board member Toni Wicki has simultaneously been appointed as Independent Lead Director.Werner Karlen and the Board of Directors have agreed not to make any further comment beyond this release.
