High-rise ensemble Quadro-Platz, Zurich
A high-rise ensemble comprised of four buildings with four high-rises of different heights has been under construction in Zurich-Nord since 2000. Upscale, flexible office space on the upper floors and retail space on the ground floor are clustered around the central Quadro-Platz.
The entire complex was developed together with the architects ARGE Atelier WW/Max Dudler. The high-rise ensemble, which is built on a square grid, is unique with its uniform architecture and use of material. Energy efficiency, a high level of flexibility and high-grade materials give rise to many customer benefits. The central location in Zurich-Nord, its good access to public transportation and good infrastructure for individual motorised transportation enhance the complex's function as a centre in the Leutschenpark quarter. The last phase is scheduled for completion in 2013.
