FAQ on applying for jobs
- How do I apply for a job at IMPLENIA?
Please apply online wherever possible at www.implenia.com. Please make sure that your password is exactly 8 characters long
- Why does IMPLENIA prefer online applications?
This makes your application much quicker to process. There is no need to wait for the postal service, and internal processes are more efficient in electronic form. You can also view the latest status of your application in the Talent Pool. Another advantage is that by entering your data online, you can apply for several jobs within IMPLENIA at once.
- How does online application work?
Start by registering with the E-Recruiting System at: www.implenia.com. You can then set up your details using the Candidate Profile with the help of the explanatory texts on the relevant pages. You can add to your details at any time. It should take about 30 minutes to enter your profile. At the same time you will receive an e-mail from us confirming your registration.
Please send us your attachments as PDF, Word or Excel files. The total size must not exceed 5 MB. Do not use a separate file for every reference. Bundle your data into two or three files (e.g. CV, references, certificates).
Your data will become visible to the recruiting team when you apply for a specific job or if you release your profile to the Talent Pool. We can only work on the application if we have a complete online dossier.

- How up-to-date are the published vacancies?
Jobs are only advertised on the website if no candidate has been selected yet. This means that the vacancies are always up to date.
- What skills and qualifications do I need to apply?
As well as formal qualifications, the following qualities are important to us: social skills, ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility, a healthy curiosity, perseverance, an interest in new technologies and a willingness to train further.
- Can I stop my application and then continue later on?
As soon as you have registered using the application wizards, we will send you the user data for your applicant's account. These allow you to leave the application assistant at any time and then return to complete it later. The data you have saved up to that point is retained.
Our recruitment officers will make an initial selection based on your application. If your profile is of interest to us, we will forward your application to the department concerned. The department evaluates your application and if in agreement we will invite you to an initial personal meeting.
- What happens to my application after you receive it?
If your profile is not right for the job you have applied for, but is suitable for other areas, we forward your application to the responsible person if you have released your profile (but only after consulting with you). If you have not released your profile we will ask you to release it or to submit your application specifically for the other vacancy.
All applications are treated in the strictest confidence.
- Who can I talk to if I have more questions about applying or about a vacancy?
Contact the IMPLENIA recruitment team by e-mail hr-help@implenia.com and write the job reference number.
- What happens if I change my candidate profile during the application process?
Changes made to your candidate profile are effective immediately and are also applied to earlier and open applications. As an applicant you are responsible for your own data. Nobody else can change it or edit it.
- How long is my data held in the system?
You can either delete your profile or withdraw your application.
- I've forgotten my password and/or user name for the log in. How do I find my data again?
- Answer if already registered:
Click in the login area on «Forgotten password» and enter your user name and/or the e-mail address with which you registered. Within a few minutes you will receive a new password that you will have to change when you next log in.
- Answer if only an online application has been submitted directly for a specific job.
Click in the login area on «Forgotten password» and enter your user name and/or the e-mail address with which you submitted your application. Within a few minutes you will receive a user name and a password. Change the password when you next log in. Please note that you must first enter the old password, and then the new one twice.
- How do you handle data protection at IMPLENIA?
IMPLENIA AG attaches a high priority to data protection. This applies in particular to personal data submitted by job applicants and people interested in our IMPLENIA Talent Pool. We guarantee the secure transmission of your data as well as compliance with the data protection laws. We have implemented an authorization and data protection plan in consultation with our data protection officers. As a result, your data is only accessible to authorized persons, and it is treated in the strictest confidence. You can find more about data protection under the Data Protection Declaration link.
