Construction method:

  • Demolitions under the SBB, A2 national road and cantonal roads etc.
  • Reinforcement of the hollow boxes and new concrete ribs with a conventionally added cantilever.
  • Construction of a new bridge on the falsework below the A2 motorway and above the cantonal roads.
  • Insertion of a bridge on newly constructed abutment structures.
  • Sealing work on the top surface of the bridge and creation of a new drainage system.
  • Maintenance of the bridge boxes and on the soffit of the bridges.

 Specialities:

  • Protective tunnel for access to the work areas via the tracks.
  • Complex installations that had to meet the additional parameters of the A2 national road and the Basel region and Basel city cantonal roads.
  • Shuttering work on falsework above roads open to traffic and insertion of bridge along tracks to final abutment.
  • Suspended frame and trestles generally above streets and waterways.
