Competition Commission (WEKO) delivers judgement on collusion about road construction in Canton Aargau

Implenia accepts decision and condemns collusion of any kind

Dietlikon, 12 January 2012 – Implenia takes note of the judgement published today by the Competition Commission (WEKO) on cartel agreements in road construction in Canton Aargau. As already communicated (press release of 9 June 2011), the Board of Directors and Group Management condemn anti-competitive practices of any kind and have already taken comprehensive internal measures. As soon as the cases became known (June 2009), Implenia immediately cooperated with WEKO. For Implenia, this judgement brings the matter to a close. The compliance philosophy implemented and practiced at all levels of the company should ensure that similar cases don’t occur in the future.
